Vehicle Description

This 1967 Pontiac GTO is a terrific mix of the right vintage elements and terrific investments in upgrades. So look over everything from the big V8 power to the A/C interior, and soon you see a hardtop muscle machine you’re going to love.

There are many reasons why you’re going to want to drive and show off this GTO, but one of the main ones is how good the paint looks. This is an exceptional re-spray of the factory Signet Gold. It sets the tone nicely as the sunlight loves to radiate off the car as it highlights your favorite sporty pieces, like hood scoop and curvy rear fenders. This one has all the right vintage style, right down to the vinyl roof that draws extra attention to the desirable pillarless hardtop roof. But if you look closely, there’s also a very cool upgrade. The wheels may look like the classic Rally II style, but the extra shine and 17-inch size are a giveaway that these are retro-style modern alloys.

The interior is also in its factory-correct gold. And you can see that they made the right investments in preservation and restoration over the years to make sure you can park it at the car show with pride. That means the bucket seats, door panels, carpeting, and headliner all have a nice finish. And the wood-like trim on the dash and center console add to this vintage premium feeling. There are even well integrated upgrades like the retro-style AM/FM digital tuner and modern R134a air conditioning. And this really loves to prove to you this is a proper muscle car with the big round gauges (including a tach) and the iconic dual gate shifter.

Under the hood is the desirable 400 cubic-inch V8. It has the right stock pieces, right down to the Pontic turquoise block and Quadrajet four-barrel carburetor. But just like everywhere else on this GTO, you also get the right upgrades. This includes worthwhile pieces like a Flame Thrower distributor and a large Champion aluminum radiator. So you get a big V8 that’s a strong runner. Add in power steering, power brakes, and a TH400 three-speed automatic transmission, and this powerful GTO is also an easy cruiser.

The sale comes with receipts documenting a long history of nice investments in this coupe. Plus, you also get the original warranty card, owner’s manual, reproduction build sheet, and PHS Documentation. This is the GTO that looks cool, runs strong, and has your favorite features.
