The Firebird was built by Pontiac from 1967 – 2002. Designed as a Pony car to compete with the Ford Mustang. The name Firebird was first used by General Motors in the early 60s concept cars. The name Pontiac, the car Firebird, lives as one of the great all-time motor cars.

The fourth and last generation Firebird like the one offered here amplified the aerodynamic styling initiated by the previous generation. Dual airbags, four-wheel anti-lock brakes, 16-inch wheels, rack and pinion steering, short/long-arm suspension and several non-rusting panels were standard. The V8 5.7 engine was essentially identical to the Corvette LT1 in the C4 Corvette.

This is a ‘speed shop’ built Firebird. It is very quick with many engine and drive upgrades. It was built to the previous owner’s specifications. It has been Dyno-tested at close to 400 HP.

Upgrades include:
· Engine build
· Competition cam
· MSD ignition
· K&N system
· Hooker headers
· Sweet-sounding exhaust with 4 pipes out the back
· Ford front loading rear end and frame connect-ties

Well-built powerful fun machine. A 6-speed transmission with a Hurst shifter completes the car, the only way to go. It goes through the gears effortlessly.

The car is rust free, easy to look at and a blast to drive. The brilliant dark exterior fits the car perfectly. All of the Formula stickers are in place. Featured are brand new 17″ Centerline wheels and 4 brand new tires. The interior is fitted in black leather. It is in excellent condition.

This is a well-priced collector automobile, a true one-only car. I have a clear title in hand.
