Exceptional 1997 SL600, highly optioned and upgraded. The most highly sought after year for the R129 SL600 is 1997 for several reasons of which I will only highlight a couple, the 5 speed transmission was a great improvement, it also was the last year of the R129 models to be Daimler exclusive as Mercedes bought Chrysler and all further Mercedes were then designated as Daimler/Chrysler until 2008/9. Pioneer DVD/CD Blu tooth stereo, focal and JL speakers and alpine high end amp. Chrystal turn signals, Xenon Head lamps New Burl/Leather Brabus steering wheel, custom front grill and many more upgrades to numerous to list. Car will also come with OEM stereo, side lights and grill.

Recent updates and maintenance completed are as follows:
1. Mobile One Synthetic oil and filter change less than 150 miles ago, also noted the overflow for radiator needed to be replaced, this was performed also in March 2018.
2. All rams, cylinders and hard top/soft top latches front and rear were replaced. September 2017 (6000.00)
Air conditioner fan,
3. ECU unit for soft top/roll bar replaced. (5000.00)
4. Air conditioner blower and fan replaced, September 2017 (1600.00)
5. 60000 mile major service which included transmission service, air conditioner, radiator flush, spark plugs etc. Next major service not due until 120,000 miles.
6. New OEM hard top headliner
7. High performance vented and drilled rotors with high performance ceramic brake pads.
8. 18″ AMG style staggered rims wrapped with 18/8.5 front 18/9.5 rear ContiTrac High performance tires
9. K&N racing filters

The soft top is in good condition, however the windows have yellowed and I will replace prior to going to new home. I am not replacing them until new buyer notifies me if they want the tinted grey or clear windows as this is a personnel preference or will credit new owner for windows if they prefer.
This car has been maintained exceptionally and all items have been addressed immediately and no expense has been spared. All work has been performed by Walters Mercedes Benz Dealer in Riverside, CA, no work has been performed by third party mechanics. All records since I have owned the vehicle are available for the new owner.
The car is driven occasionally, mileage may differ slightly.
